What will a session look like? Each session will be unique and will fit your needs. Most of all know it will be just a fun and relaxed talk about yoga and YOU!
About Gretchen I began my yoga practice in 1995 after completing my final year of college volleyball. I had more than just a body to heal and a basic Hatha yoga class in college was where my yoga journey began. Up until I moved to Portland in 2005 I was maintaining a fairly regular yoga practice doing Vinyasa and Ashtanga where I was living in Orlando, Florida. While my sister was in town visiting me we decided to hop on our bikes and ride in to Bikram Yoga Fremont Street for our very first Bikram Yoga class. It was an instant connection! Well, maybe it took an hour or two before it sunk in but then it was an instant connection;) My practice has been full of "stops" and "starts" and continually I am "starting from scratch again". I get it, life happens! But my life just began to soar when I finally honored myself enough to maintain a regular practice. I will remind you it is NOT about the perfect pose, but about compassion and patience through self-discipline. And don't forget a heavy dose of Faith and Determination!! My goal is to empower you to take charge of your own practice. I hope to share some of my "ah ha" and "oops" moments so that I can help you to maintain a positive, life-changing and life-time practice that supports you inside and outside of the room.
